4Cs is the data controller for information you provide to us. We collect and process your data only to manage your enquiry and, if accepted, your counselling. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except where legally required.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. No personal data is collected by visiting this site. The enquiry form is processed securely.
What you share with your counsellor is confidential. The only exceptions are:
• Where there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person
• Where we are legally required to disclose
• In supervision (anonymised)
Your counsellor will discuss this with you at your first session.
4Cs takes safeguarding seriously. All counsellors are DBS checked. We have a named Safeguarding Lead. Our policy is reviewed regularly in line with statutory guidance.
Centre for Christian Care and Counselling (4Cs) is a registered charity (No. 1074818). We are the data controller for the personal information you provide to us.
When you make an enquiry, we collect your name, contact details, and a brief description of your reason for seeking counselling. If you proceed to assessment and then to counselling, we may collect additional information relevant to your care.
We use your information to manage your enquiry and, if appropriate, to match you with a counsellor and arrange your sessions. We do not use it for marketing. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties except where legally required.
We retain client records for seven years after the end of counselling in line with professional guidance. Enquiries that do not progress to counselling are deleted after six months.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations); object to processing; and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
